Important Announcement

We know you have been patiently waiting to hear our official announcement regarding our festival on May 28, 29, 30 at the Burbank Marriott. So many have reached out to us wanting answers.

We were hoping with much excitement and anticipation to celebrate reuniting with our beloved Salsa community after such a difficult year.

Governor Newsom announced the State of California would fully reopen June 15, 2021. It breaks our hearts as that would be 16 days after our festival. Unfortunately for all of us, our event does not fall during this reopening date.

Therefore, we are once again postponing our event until Memorial Weekend May 27, 28, 29 2022.

We know this is not the outcome we were hoping for, however, regarding state restrictions, CDC guidelines and many other factors that it takes to organize an event of this magnitude, it is in the best interest for everyone that we wait for better circumstances.

We will have a celebration on May 29, 2021. Stay tuned for these details. This will be a FREE event for the entire world. So please save this date on your calendar.

We know you still have questions. The following are some sample questions that should address them.

#1. I purchased a full event pass. What happens to my ticket?

World Salsa Festival will honor your ticket for 2022. You will NOT lose your money.

#2. What if I don’t want a credit. I would prefer a refund?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue refunds. In order to keep this festival going we will need the continued support of the community.

We are in this together. It is also stipulated in your terms and conditions the event does not issue refunds EVEN in the case of State mandated closures.

#3. What should I do with my hotel reservation?

Please call the hotel at 8188436000 to cancel your reservation. We will reserve a new hotel room block under WSF in the months to come and notify the public.

#4. I live out of State and or cannot attend next year 2022?

We understand many lives have been disrupted due to COVID 19. If you are unable to attend 2022, e mail us and we will be happy to extend your ticker until 2023.

# 5 I am deployed and serving in our armed forces for an indefinite amount of time.

WSF honors and respects our brave men and women proudly serving our country. Since our weekend is designed to celebrate our fallen American heroes, WSF has decided to extend your ticket with no restrictions. We will hold your ticket until you are ready to return. Just stay in communication with us and we will take care of you as you continue to take care of us.

If your question has not been answered please e mail us at
